A Family Story Since 1909

Opened in 1909, Forno Becagli is a tiny Florentine gem: just 12 square meters, 11 people working like a perfectly tuned orchestra, and a tradition that has never been interrupted.
They're especially known for their artisan pastries:

- ricciarelli
- panforte
- cenci
- seasonal fritters
- classic baked sweets

All prepared the old-fashioned way, following the rhythm of the seasons.




Bread, Schiacciata, and Savory Specialties

The bread counter is a daily spectacle: 30 types of bread, with different flours, shapes, and sizes.
The schiacciata all'olio comes out warm several times a day.
And then there's the real Tuscan bread, the traditional unsalted loaf that lasts and tastes like history.
It's no surprise that Becagli supplies some of the best cafés in Florence and even the prestigious Gucci Museum.
